codpiece
Chapter 2. On getting the boat ready to drop back into my garden I find that contrary to my thoughts the fuel was not the target, The hitch-lock had been removed so I think they where disturbed and he boat itself was the desired item, what saved it was, I think, the wheel clamp and lack of time, that is now going to be suplemented by removal of the remaining wheel, coupled with the forlorne hope that should they return I will be there cos at 76 consequencies for violent actions no longer worry me. but lesson to learn<<<<don't park your boat in your front garden. Tight lines all. Derek.

cth
Filthy b@st@rds. Glad to hear your boat is safe anyway. Tie the trailer down with a chain, remove the hitch put a padlock though the bolt hole ,then take a wheel or 2 off, the insurance company will ask for at least 2 or 3 methods of securing the trailer, what a world we leave in. keep a piece of 4x2 under your bed not that you should use it of course. diverdave
Take the jockey wheel off and leave it on the skid, drop the motor until the skeg touches the ground, they can't lift it high enough to get it on a hitch ? Take all the wheel nuts off, they wont get far ? Connect the trailer to 240V it plays havoc with 12V systems, if it dont get them first ? Scroatmyboat.com Footnote !! Can we make this private please ? The Scroats read these forums !! Edited December 5, 2012 by diverdave
