So Tuesday morning up early 5oclock just to see everything Frozen up never mind set off all exicited Got to aluns quick cup tea and away we go. -2 at slip ice at Edge of the harbour Set up first drift a fair breeze pushing us at 2 1/2 knots When the tide slowed a bit the bites started first to me good fish on good fight only to throw hook at side of boat Blast I said Alun said that was near double figures Next drift aluns into one 9 pounder in cracking condition Then another to him 3 ish Then my turn bang goes the float lovely fight on light gear just under 8 pounds well pleased, we had a couple more up to 5 1/2 and some more dropped takes All in it was a great day albeit freezing A big thanks to the bass man, and he even gave me a Lobster for me tea Kev With a big smile Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We were just testing out that shoulder of yours ....before you pull some more big flounders [ Sunday??] Although cold above the surface, sea temp still up above 8 C ..and bass still feeding ! Alun.
