Leicester Fisheagle Posted January 19, 2013 Report Posted January 19, 2013 Not too long ago I seem to remember a thread where someone suggested an alternative to the cool boxes a lot seem to use. Possibly looking for a largish one which is strong enough to double up as a seat if necessary. Seem to be plenty out there but are there any recommendations and can someone direct me to the thread? Many thanks. Allan. Quote
fisherman1055 Posted January 19, 2013 Report Posted January 19, 2013 Allen I have an Iceytek 70L cool box You can get special freezer blocks to cool it And a padded cushion to use as a seat When I went to Alderney it stayed frozen for 5 days Not cheap but worth considering Tony Quote
maver Posted January 19, 2013 Report Posted January 19, 2013 (edited) I use one of these for camping and you can sit on them quite happily http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Coleman-70QT-Xtr...=item460324924b Edited January 19, 2013 by maver Quote

Rob Posted January 20, 2013 Report Posted January 20, 2013 Igloo marine cool boxes are good, icytek are the next level - are they worth the extra? Only you can decide (but they are heavy and solid and make a tough seat, the ones on Tru Blue are the size of a coffin!) Rob Quote
