The foot switch on mine Charlie was already fitted but I find it easier and safer to operate it with my knee.

Just the way it works on mine.

Where is yours fitted? And do you push it with your knee or kneel on it?

Its on the floor next to the anchor well and I kneel on it.

It allows me to keep control of the rope easier and allows me to tuck rope into the well because I,m so close to it.

Is yours fitted on the bow or side deck?

I have one on the bow, but the locker is a bit small and the rope needs assistance to get the rope back in

 

I have now fitted a locker and Lewmar C5 on the side deck

 

May go out again for more trials tomorrow

Charlie my set up is on the bow so different, just a matter of trialing all ideas before permenent fixings.

Can put my five pennith in if it helps!!
