Some of you may know that I recently got a cheap Laser engraver. Well it's taken a while to get it set up and running as I want it but it's done. I tried some old slate the other day and I was pleased with the results. So. I'm on the scrounge. Do you have any old slate that I can have please. Anything bigger than about 3" or 75mm square will be great. Happy to collect or you could bring to a meeting if easier. Thanks in advance. 👍

I've Never had one. Used to see loads when on a charter trip putting back the sand eels we didn't want after netting on hook sands. Seems like 100 years ago 😪 We used to be able to "stop off for 10 mins" for Mackerel as well. Now you could spend all day and not get one. 😒
