duncan Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 er Rays for me........... beautiful creatures, can give a good tussle and the odd one on a plate is superb too. Quote
Sam Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 conger and smoothhound for me also tope theses three species fight like anything and is great to watch them swim away because they taste horrible still after the big conger after watching dan catch one but have succeded with the tope and have had a few reasonable smoothhound [ ten pounds] sam Quote
boybilly Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 I wouild not be able to split wrasse and bream. Both types of fishing give me great pleasure. Quote
great white Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 I have to agree with Sam Tope Conger and Smoothounds They give a great fight and are fairly easy to locate given the right weather in their season. No tope on the survey so I have not voted Charlie Quote
alun j. Posted January 29, 2005 Report Posted January 29, 2005 Although I voted for BASS which just has to be king of most categories, I put trigger fish close up there, edging ahead of the bream!.......... esp. if they are regularly going to come in the 2 - 3 lbs. size. Alun. PS. This is what we had for dinner tonight......... the superb eating [ even after freezing ] adds extra points !! Quote
