I have created an RSS feed which is currently under test but will allow the forum to be viewed within an RSS Reader.

 

Basically whenever an update is made to a topic on the forum, this will be detected by the reader when it checks the "news feeds". A message will then pop up to tell you that an update has been made in the forum.

 

You will need an RSS Reader - I use the one attached to this post ( there are others available on the web ).

 

You then need to add the RSS feed to the reader. Press "Add" and add the URL :-

Just finished loading rss also had to load microsoft.net framework 1.1 to get rss to load.

 

All working fine on my m/c now and it looks like it might be a time saver with no need to keep checking for updated posts

Warm - RSS actually stands for Really Simple Syndication !

 

Its not that smart - I just looked it up on the web.

 

I now have it working so that every update will be reported ( hopefully ).
