Mike Fox
Planning to pop out tomorrow to the Sadler Banks, or end of the Dolphin Sands to look for an early whiting or two, with a possible lunking bait down for something a bit coddy. I could always pop back inshore then for a late plaice or something. Offshore will probably be too big a tide for comfortable fishing in an Easterly. Going to Christchurch Ledge is too far for me, as it will be against tide both ways. Anyone have any better suggestions based on actual experience this week? Happy to keep in touch on Channel 6 if anyone else is out. Mike
Steve S
I have not heard much in the way of whiting coming out, seems a couple of months too early. There were half a dozen boats or so fishing the car park last weekend don't know if any nodders were caught. Often a few lunkers are caught early in the season. Good luck.
