Sam Posted March 25, 2005 Author Report Posted March 25, 2005 they are lovely fish to catch a lovely buzz, dad had a 25lb one on a 10lb class rod i wish it was me how much fun would that be we will have to get out sometime in the summer together we have got a duver 23 dad built it. i was looking at the strikeliner the other day very nice boat hoping to get a boat soon when i have saved up. were did you catch your 66lb beast. sam Quote

I caught monster on 6 to 12 lb rod loaded with 30lb braid , bait was mackerel flapper , took 30 mins + to get it to boat , once i figure out how to i will post piccy on here . Topey Quote
