Rod Repair

very easy to repair. gently heat with a fag lighter to melt glue whilst pulling gently on the ring with a pair of pliers. Once removed take to your local tackle dealer and they should be able to glue a new one on.

Or just take to your tackle shop and let them do the whole repair. if you use them regulary they probably only charge for the new ring. it really is only a 5 minute job.

You should have had it fixed by now.......

Just drop it in at Castaways on the way past and pick it up the following week, it will save you all the messing about.

It is an easy fix - but you have spent more time and effort on here than getting it sorted. Sound familiar?

Seemed to be a complete pain in the arse to try and get a tip ring ring which was both good quality and the right size. Veals kit was out of stock, and I didn't want to get a big kit and end up with a box of tip rings that didn't fit any of my limited selection of rods...

So took it to Castaways and got it fixed. £4 job done

Now if only this weather would do one...
