lofty Posted July 8, 2018 Report Share Posted July 8, 2018 My yak is 5m My anchor is a 1.5kg Bruce with 1metre of 6mm chain with a tie strap break away with 150metres of 3mm paracord. great white Posted July 9, 2018 Report Share Posted July 9, 2018 Out at the weekend in deep water , I decided to try the lighter anchor with the thinner much longer chain [8mm but 15 to 20 metres long] even in 70 metres of water it held well but it was flat calm which always helps.
