Leicester Fisheagle
A couple of my rod handles, which I think are made of a heavy foam, are in need of cleaning. Have tried scraping and using a foam and metal scourer with soap liquid to no real avail. I suppose one answer is to catch less fish, but does anyone have any helpful suggestions? Newboy
Just soak in water or wrap in very damp cloth to rehydrate the scales and slime and it should be easily cleaned off, if there's lots of slime, use salt to rub the slime off. Newboy
Oh, forgot to mention, the rubbing action required with the salt is rather personal, so I'd do it out of sight Reel Wizzard, Jim, fisherman1055 and 5 others 2
