JIMBOB
I fished with Adam for the comp today and we headed for the same spot we fished last year on the ledge. A bit windy on the way out but not to bad and we still managed a fair speed to the mark. mackrel were a bit thin on the ground but we ended up with a few to tip of baits with, Then Its was down to some serious bream fishing down went the hook and it was bites from the off they came thick and fast for most of the morning with again a supurb average size of 1 3/4 to 2 lb. we lost count how many but used all our bait 100 rag 6 mackrel an a small box of squid!! in a few hours fishing!! in total we must of had over 50 bream all went back bar 5, the best two I had went 3lb and 3lb2oz. Paul J
Wow, not so hot for us as we struggled to get any bream, i think 3 was our total but all small. We did get a small undulate of 7.5lbs, a nice cockoo of a pound and a bit ( 100% specimen) and a few other bits a pieces Paul J

Adam F
As James said, we had a pretty good day and was sure that we had secured a place in the top 3 or 4...but on hearing how Dean's day went maybe not so! Anyway, we had a cracking day with sooo many fish! For the record my best went 2lb 8oz. We also had a couple of new species for BW - a Tompot blenny and a brace of 3 bearded rockling. The wind stayed quite polite with the odd F5/6 gust but about a steady 4 all day - it couldnt have been that bad as the kettle stayed on the stove and the bacon managed to get cooked!
