FURUNO SOUNDER PROBLEMS ANYONE HELP ?

Afternoon all, 

 

On my last trip out the sounder decided it didn't want to play ball I'm trying to ruel out it being either the head unit or the transducer the model I have is the FURUNO FCV 585

Does anyone in the club have one that I could remove from my boat only 2 plugs so nice and easy and try on your transducer just so I can eliminate the issue before spending ££££.

I had something similar with my Raymarine when motoring. It was perfect when stationary.

 

it was a loose transducer.

Ben, try unplugging transducer at unit, spray plug and socket wd40/ electrical contact cleaner and see if that helps
