Inshore pack for up to 3 miles Coastal Pack up to 7 miles - this is recommended by the club Offshore pack in excess of 7 miles. Now given the Rips are somewhat more than 7 miles offshore, I presume it would be advisable for boats travelling there to carry an Offshore pack of flares as opposed to a coastal pack ? Quote
