duncan
took advantage of the weather window, and neap tides to run over to Alderney and then on to Guernsey and Sark. Went over Thursday morning and returned direct from Guernsey arriving early Saturday afternoon to that rather unpleasant squall ( ) as usual fishing wasn't high on the agenda but I managed a nice hour around some rocky outcrops off Sark in the dingy with the fly rod one afternoon - nowt interested in my meagre offerings. managed some turbot and brill - but only in the Riva restraunt St Peter Port overall the scenery, both above water and on the sounder, looked fantastic and I am looking forward to a proper fishing trip over some time.
