What a day it was a special day out today because i had some guy's from sea angler on board today who will be doing artical on the trip in a future publication. So knowing this I rushed out and brought myself PBSBA top to look smart hoping that I may get my photo in the magazine and give the club some publicy-did that happen-NO!!!Perfect weather, flat calm seas and lots of sun! We went out to the wrecks on the 40 mile mark, and were hoping for more variety of fish but just pollock. The only thing they took photos off was of them, holding my fish-as they were 14lb to 16lb, and the boat as it left Poole. I think they enjoyed there selves, even though I had to show them how to do it!! biggrin.gif

Matt

Nice day to be afloat and glad you had a good day. Shame they never took a photo of you with your fish mad.gif but there you go their ego will be bolstered with your fish smile.gif

Will they even mention the club or will it just be a write up on their day afloat ?

Probably the latter I guess, never mind from our point of view Sea Angler Magazine is the poor relation to Boat Fishing Magazine!

Nice one Matt

I will await the catch reports.

We usually struggle to get a few pollack in the book, but you have certainly corrected that this season. biggrin.gif I will enjoy adding a few more for you.

and you must have anticipated Sam's reply.

Its always a bit sad that Sea Angler chose what they print the way they do. its been a struggle to see how they work out the junior fish of the month and why some of the boys pictures get in and others with better fish do not.

Hopefully the Club will get a mention

Well done again

I am not sure whats going to be written in the magazine or which pictures are going to be used. But I had a good chat with Brian about the club, so we will just have to wait and see.

Sam I haven't forgotten you mate, I will get you out hopefully sooner rather than later.
