duncan
personally I would take advantage of the all these people trying to lend money at low rates and get this one instead - different league and not much more money http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk/view/AIN023 - bluntly you could flog of some of the 'extras' for around 1500 if you were pushed (but again I wouldn't) in both cases the trailer conditions could be a big factor but a decent car will tow either with care. great white
Adam the first one looks quite simular to Marks old boat so perhaps you ought to speak to him about short falls. as he is awaiting his replacement there must be a good reason for changing. We use Honda 75 HP 4 strokes at work, good engines but servicing can be expensive as parts are not cheap. The second boat seems a good package for the money, plenty of room and lots of toys and a good trailer for those trail aways. Paul D
Adam, I have a friend at work who has a Day Angler. I am sure he would give you a look around if you wish ( Langstone Harbour though ).
