Bob F
Ain't it nice getting up early om a wet blustery morning? It's even too bad to get the Kayaks out and take a stroll down the Stour. BF
Paul J
Bob, do you have a kayak?
Maverick Martin
It's even too bad to get the Kayaks out and take a stroll down the Stour. It must get uncomfortable carrying a Kayak along the Stour Martin

blueboatdriver
"The kayaks" aren't some strange breed of dog are they? Maybe; just a thought.
Bob F
Kaz has roped me into trying this 'yaking lark. She's got one of those short, funKayaks. I've borrowed an old "normal" looking Kayak. I thought it would be easy... Kaz is like a serene swan gliding up the river. I'm thrashing around in white water and foam behind her, deperately trying to keep up. Every 50ft I manage to put the boat into a spin!! Can't keep the damn thing in a straight line... Anyway, an hour later Karen has paddled about 6 miles with not a bead of sweat on her brow, and I've paddled about 36 miles and absolutley cream crackered. Think I'll try strapping my little 4hp on the back next time. (We were on the Stour at Spetisbury this afternoon. Rain had stopped at it was glorious. Kingfishers, Ibis, Swans, Buzzards. If only I had the strength to look around) BF
