Paul J
Sneaked out early to the end of the ledge as the weather was ok and the seas fairly smooth at 7am. Put the hook in and settled down for a session, picking up a Bass of 2 1/2lb early on with a mackerel strip. but as the strong wind warning came in on the vhf at sw f5-7 maybe later f8! i decided to go inland a bit so i could easily bolt for cover if needed. Just off the groyne in about 22ft of water to my suprise i pick up a Bull huss of 7 1/2lb, just after that another Bass of 2 1/2lb on a float fished mackerel strip. The Swells started to get quite big and i could feel that it was about to kick off and get nasty so i legged it it home. (12.15) Happy to have escaped the weather and got a few fish in Paul J
