Maverick Martin
I had Bob F and Dean onboard as crew but Sunday on Maverick turned out to be a quite affair. The weather was top notch, steaming out to the fishing grounds through the mist over an almost flat sea, lubberly. Expectations were high, would Mr or Mrs cod be there. We were kept fairly busy with strap conger, pout, doggies and one solitary whiting. So all in all an enjoyable day but it wasn

Maverick Martin
Mike We were out on the slate beds with some club members choosing to fish on the banks, or at least in that vicinity. Where werre you? didnt hear you on vhf either, would have got back to you for sure had we heard you. Were you on CH 6 and if you were next time out do a radio cheque with harbour control ch14 or Portland CG on 16 Pass on the waypoint issue. Sometimes beggars belief.
