blueboatdriver
A 22lbs Turbot was caught on the Hook Sands two days ago Only one thing though; one of the netters caught it I wonder how many other monsters like this are lurking around under our noses. Adam F
I think we would all be surprised...a weymouth skipper was telling me back in the autumn that a mate of his who spear fishes regularly bring back double figure plaice from inside the shambles - the skipper has spend days fishing the exact mark without anything near that size...the same goes for what I have heard coming up in nets from Poole Bay.... I guess thats why the fish are that size! But no matter how willey the fish is - they cant avoid a bloody great beam traweller!!
Sam
i think we should get some dynamite and strap it to the transom of the beam trawler id like to see it trawl then sam
blueboatdriver
This fish wasn't actually caught by a beam trawler Sam. But it may have been next week
