shytalk
the braid sounds reasonable but a bit thick 14.1kg whiplash is .10mm
munterhunter
They do a better quality braid which is slightly more expensive. And I am sure that thisis not teh best braid on the market, however for the price is very good. Mike did say about giving discounts on bulk orders over

Adam F
Braid knots all rely on you not strangling the knot itself as this is when the strength of the braid is comprimised. Also the knot must give as much strength to the mono as possible, as this will invaribly be the weakest link. Several knots (all mentioned) will do the job equally as well when tied correctly. The uni-not, the grinner, the allbright, palomar, and the bimini twist. Personally I use a single tuck (granny knot) in the mono, and then double tuck a double blood knot up and around the shank of the mono with the braid. This gives a very slim knot where the braid pull laterally along the mono and not at the actual knot itself. As I said, horses for courses, none is better or worse just personal preferance. Adam F
Just thought I'd try the tackle bargins link on the site. I needed some new braid anyway, and thought the stuff Paul D bought was OK, so Ive gone for 200yds of 20lb Grey and 300yds of 25lb Ghost green. We shall see what it is like 0 gunna load my new reels up with it. BTW: - Just bought a Shimano Charter Special 1000LD and a TLD 15. Sold the little calcutta (little small for what I wanted, cracking reel though ) and will keep the big gold Okuma for heavy work on the 50lb rod.
