Shame Dan was not up tho the trip today, and Sams mocks start tomorrow.

 

But a day spent getting the boat sorted and the Christmas trimmings up will help with the browny points when the new boat arrives

Nice fish Adam ( zzzzzz ),

Wish we had steamed over to the island now, but probably would have come back empty handed still. We had a few whiting ( and they are getting bigger ) and Alun had a small eyed ray at the end of the day - interspersed with the usual doggies and monster pout.

Beautiful day to be out as well.

 

Did anyone hear what sounded like quarrying - I was wondering later if it was explosions from Hemel Hempstead - surely not.

Good whiting caught out of Mudiford - due South.

 

First fish up 4lb

 

Several over 3lb

 

Also reported a pout over 3 lb

 

usual kennel problem.

I smelt burning which caused me to take a few glances back at the engine.

Considering the lack of wind that day it's doughtful that it would have travelled that far by the afternoon.

 

Fishing for me was busy, but with dogfish and pout only
