Seamouse
Hi folks, Three IAC boats were out on the Nab West banks in a lovely flat calm. No cod or conger, although Tamar Lady had a nice pollock. On Lookfar, it was wall to wall whiting. Matt and I had 44 between us, all of a good size up to 2lb, plus a handful of dogs and pout and a near 3lb spotted ray. All of the whiting were stuffed with large sprat and there were shoals of fish showing on the sounder. Maybe the cod are missing this year or maybe they are just obsessed with sprat! Steve I had a stack of Pollock yesterday that were all coughing up sprat so this may be part of the reason for the slow cod fishing.... Well done on the Whiting. Adam F
Good result Steve! Havent yet fished the Nab - just refresh me on where you launch, areas you fish and how long / far it is to run out to the mark - I also presume it is similar to fishing the Needles? Paul D
Adam, Eastney is a good place to launch for Nab Tower. ( Remember I did a "recce" for a forthcoming trailaway ). The steam time is similar to that from Mudeford to Needles.
Coddy
Just need a good tow car for pulling the boat up the slip as it is often covered in shingle. Do remember Steve? FWD cars are usless on that stuff. Coddy

Hi Adam, Eastney is probably the best launch point. Steepish slip, can be gravelly as Dave pointed out but plenty of parking. Harbour and launch dues are
