Coddy
Hi all I too was surfing and came across the Coastguard's web site. Just a thought, how many of your members have registered their boat with the Coastguards? Check this web page out and you can complete a form on line if you wish or post it to the Coastguards. http://www.mcga.gov.uk/c4mca/mcga-hmcg/mcga-hmcg-cg66.htm It is the CG66 form, which, should the worse ever happen, the rescue services can determin what boat it is they have found. Adam F
Thanks Codfather. I was reading about these a littlw while ago, but didnt really understand them - now I do!. Also, if in an emergancy you call the coastguard and give them your no. they will then know what boat they are looking for. All helps in the quest for safety. I will be filling mine in 2day, i recommend others dot he same! Adam
