Will try this Paul, but how comes you didnt need PBSBAC as your home page previously?

Is there no other way around this as I would prefer not to chnage my homepage.

Will try it later.

Anyone else having the same problem as me, when I click 'view new posts' it lists posts from yesterday which I HAD already read. It seems the unread posts is hanging on a lot longer than before.

Thanks Paul that has worked.

I firstly made this the forum my home page;

then deleted all my short cuts to this site;

I then logged off of the internet;

then back on again and reinstate all of your shortcuts;

you can then change your home page back to whatever you like.

Clear as mud I'm sure dry.gif

Jack - It is when you turn your PC on, and come to this site - it appears logged on straight away, so ou dont have to enter you name and pass word each time, just a little feature that makes life easier...if you follow BB drivers advice above yours will do too!

I've another problem Paul.

If I stay logged on and save the forums as a favourite or on the desktop I receive this error message when I try to navigate to the home page;Fatal error: Call to undefined function: forumnewsindex() in /home/skipper1/public_html/modules/Forum_News/index.php on line 6

If I log off of the site and come back via www.pbsbac.co.uk the home page is htere. I do prefer to come straight to the forums via my desktop and usually only check out the home page occasionally.

Any ideas?

Oh yeah, sorry for another potential headache sad.gif

Simon,

Try these :-

Select Tools / Internet Options / Connections Tab / Lan Settings.

Is the "Use a Pfroxy Server" ticked. If so uncheck it and try then.

Try Tools / Internet Options / Settings and change the setting to "Check for newer stored pages - every visit to the page". Shutdown IE and then open again. If fixed then set back to automatic.

Do you use MSN Messenger ? - If so you could send me a "remote assistance" request and I can try to see what is causing this.
