Adam F Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 ...Anyone planning to get out? The forecast (currently) is showing 1-2 knot winds, allbeit from the East, but thats good enough for me! Small tides also, and with not much else kicking around at this time of year me thinks there is only one type of fishing to do! - Just need to get my anchor sorted again! Who else is looking to get out and from where? Adam Quote
duncan Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 which day are you thinking of Adam? I may well get out (for the first time this year!!!) looking for anything that can put a bend in the rod! Quote
Adam F Posted January 18, 2006 Author Report Posted January 18, 2006 Sunday is looking best currently.... Quote
alun j. Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 Me too !! Not sure which of the two days.........forecast varies but Sunday might be calmer? In the absence of any other offers, I expect I'll slip out of Mudeford and try for whiting and cod [ho ho !!] somewhere out beyond X - ray if it's flat. Down to my last box or two of squid and last few mackeral in the freezer . Tight lines, Alun. Quote
Guest santa claus........... Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 In the absence of any other offers OK I will see if the sleigh can be used Sunday, and whether Ruldolph would want his mates along............... Quote

Adam F Posted January 18, 2006 Author Report Posted January 18, 2006 Gordon, X-Ray is about 1/2 mile East of where you where when we came back from offshore a few weeks ago. I'll have Gordon as crew, see you all out there. Adam Quote
Fugazi Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 Adam, If you're talking Saturday I won't be able to get through the Run much before 10:00 am. Now I know the club's using CH6 I'll give you a call. Gordon H Quote
Adam F Posted January 18, 2006 Author Report Posted January 18, 2006 Talking Sunday - LW is about 9.30am, so an early 7.00am launch will seewus with plenty of water and out to the mark ready for the slack....! Quote
Paul D Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 Whiting possibly but you would presumably have to be lucky ( ie. Spawny ) to catch a cod - there again maybe you will be getting cod as well then Quote
duncan Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 i'll settle for cod and eels or eels and pout or anything really............ Quote
Guest Guest Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 Stingray will be out Sunday looking for whiting and anything bigger that's feeling obliging. See you all out there. Looks like being busy! Quote
