TomBettle
Those of you that know me are probably aware that Quest II (featured in Sea Angler mag December or a pic on Members Boats) is owned by a syndicate of 5. Unfortunately one of the syndicate is thinking of selling due to financial reasons (buying a house) and so I am putting a tentative enquiry on here. Quest II Merry Fisher 695 Shaft drive Nanni 155Hp diesel 6.99m hull length, 7.68m loa CE Category B Built by Jeanneau 2005, commissioned 2005 Amongst other equipment she has: Raymarine C120 Plotter 2Kw Raymarine Radar Raymarine Smartpilot Autopilot Raymarine DSM 300 fish finder module Raymarine 54E DSC VHF Hydraulic Steering Deckwash 130ltr. Main Tank 53ltr. Built in Reserve Tank 10 gallon Live well Approx 200ltr. Insulated fish box Electric Windlass Twin Wipers Galley Pressurised Fresh Water Rod Holders all round Twin Batteries Separate Heads with Marine Toilet Flares, Lifejackets etc etc etc etc She is an absolutely superb sea boat and will sleep 3 in reasonable comfort. She is no speed boat topping out at 23 knots light, but cruises all day at between 13 and 16 knots for economy (18 knots at a push). She still has the full balance of all warranties. Her home port is Weymouth where she has a pontoon berth Fully serviced and well used (140 hours in 9 months), but absolutely 100% lovely and capable of anything from Weymouth to Alderney, to the Solent, to the West Country. A 1/5 share will entitle the buyer to full use at anytime, although other syndicate members are entitled to join the same trip if they wish (a quick phone call sorts this out) although we hardly ever fish more than 3 anyway. Ongoing costs (insurance, berthing, servicing, improvements etc) are split 5 ways regardless of use levels. Fuel is topped up by the user after each trip so that the next user has a full tank. Any new syndicate member is subject to approval by other owners Quest II has a retail value of over

TomBettle
Hi Tom Sounds like a bargain to me..shame I dont have 10.5k spare Good luck in your hunt for a shareholder Martin Poor old Chris really doesn't want to sell and he is my main fishing partner in the syndicate, however he has been given the option of a part purchase / part rent house and he needs to clear any loans to prove his credit worthiness. He has to do this pretty quick too, so (sssh) the asking price is just an opening gambit and would just slightly more than cover his investment in the boat, however I know he will take a fair offer.
