AlderneyBassman
New to this forum and thought I would introduce myself. The names Dick Smith from, you guessed it, Alderney! I run an Orkney Dayangler 21 with an Etec 90. Hope I'm welcome on the forum even though I'm not a club member or fish anywhere near Poole! Congratulations on a really informative and friendly forum

AlderneyBassman
Cheers Martin. Guess you're on a charter boat in May, thats the month it all starts livening up with the visiting anglers. The Marais is the most popular 'cos of the great food and huge helpings. I'll keep an ear out as to whats being caught if thats any help

Newboy
Welcome Dick, actually I think Alderney is within club water, St Catherine Point IOW to Portland Bill. You can actually join the club and fish our comps, with the excellent quality of fishing down your end, I bet you will do really well.
