Planning on taking day off work on Friday and fishing the Shambles if the wind holds off ( forecast is for lower swell on Friday but as much due to the smaller sized tides I guess )

If it is looking windier then will probably fish out of Christchurch.

Anyone know what the smaller neap tides fish like on the Shambles ?

Paul, yes the tides are dropping, but if its windy, I'd steer clear for safety reasons, as you wont have a buddy boat. Why not give Southbourne a try?? Or have a drift along the Swash?? It would save dissapointment farther west, if weather conditions aren't easing.

I'm supposed to be out on Tuesday on the Shambles, so will write up the trip on my return........dont be holding ure breath now!!

Rich,

Exactly my plan ( to fish Southbourne if windier ). Will decide nearer the day.

( I suspect I may have a buddy boat as well in Terry ( Plaicemat ) and Alun J , so no probs there. )

Dave, I'm just hoping that my mug doesn't appear in the mag next issue, the Plaice pictured for that one was only a couple of pounds....well embarrasing!!!

"Lets see the trace Rich..........hold it..........work that camera, baby!!!"
