blueboatdriver Posted May 7, 2006 Report Posted May 7, 2006 Myself and my son George (7) had a great day on the bream at Ballard today. As soon as the tide turned to flood the action started and never stopped for about an hour. George ended up with 19 and I had 15; brilliant fun even though most were shoal fish of between 1 and 1 1/2 lbs. George had the best at 2lbs 4ozs and my best was 2lbs. I'm hoping to get out one evening after work this week to have another go it the weather's OK. I was really pleased when there were no complaints from George when I told him we had to let his largest fish go as it was stuffed with roe. We kept four for the table; plenty. Simon Quote
