Maverick Martin
After the 48 hour comp and me fishing all that week end I felt I should stay at home and give ere indoors some time Well I decided to do some of the jobs on the boat that you just never seem to get around to at least I don't One of those jobs was to inspect the flares and check them over, ooops out of date and it seems like only yesterday when I replaced them. Also changed the fire extinguisher which looked ok but had been on the boat for 6 years Anyhow decided to try the old one to see what they go like. Pulled out the safety pin, pulled the trigger and put put put it hardly came out so that was a good job done. Me horn is also playing up so looked at it

great white
Very good point Now that inspections [That were very hard to arrange] are a thing of the past it is down to the owners to check and maintain our kit I am as guilty as others about this but it is very important that others follow Martins lead and check the safety equipment. By the time the new boat is in my flares and fire extinguishersmay have become out of date Charlie
