Paul J Posted April 11, 2004 Report Posted April 11, 2004 Got out on Jigabyte today and the weather was glorious! I was with Allen and two of his Wandering Victorians (Allen and Nigels other fishing Club) Iain and Paul who were a good laugh. Ballard produced nothing in the first couple of hours so we moved to the patches. Patches were the same for ages until we decided to use the bait dropper and put loads of Squid and mackerel ground bait down. This brought them on the feed about half hour later, My First Bream of the season!, it's been a good weekend!. It wasn't wide open but we had steady sport for about 2 hours. These were mostly male fish in the Two pound range with a few females mixed in, we kept a few larger males for Tea and returned the females to lay there eggs. The boat got 15 bream, i had 3, the best going 2lb 2oz Quote
