JIMBOB Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 After a last minute phone call from one of my freshwater fishing mates (mark) "any chance coming down from for a go for a bass tonight" the FPO said "yes" and like a shot I raced back from work and was out there. Greeted my mirror like seas we bagged up on macky and went for the bass, they seemed to be really wanting it with the bass hitting the baits like steam trains After a few drifts and just on sunset I hooked a bass that just roared off and after a good tussle a huge bass broke the surface and mark scooped the net under my first double of the season at 10lb 8oz Mark had his video camera so its all on film including her release,but my camera had flat batteries so you will have to wait until I get the stills of his video to see some pics James Quote

I am looking forward to joining the fun again. I have been doing exactly that in the wheelhouse mate, I am sure the neighbours enjoy me working on the boat late to escape the heat.
