Just Starting a new post for Fridays first sole foray of the year.

So far I think there's

Gnasher

Lady Jane

Enticer

and Dawn Raider

Any ones else is welcome to come along. LW is at 7.30pm at the run, so A 6pm launch should just scrape out over the bar, or a 9pm launch if you want to meet us down there. HW is at 12.30am so we can get in any time from then until 3am.I think we are heading towards Barton,I'll probably have a go for the bass during the daylight hours to kill some time until the sole start feeding.

Andy, ragworm normally does the job or you can use lug, some people like smelly just on the turn bait for sole but I like fresh. Some times there can be a lot of spiders on the mark and small bream so take quite a few worms.

Don't forget small hooks size 1 or smaller sole have small mouths and don't strike to soon let them chew!

Tackle wise You can fish as light as poss say a spinning rod with 12lb line which can be fun if you hook a ray! biggrin.gif
