Mikey B
Can any one help I have a corrupted XP operating system. I have tried to reboot as per the the disk supplied by my computer supplier, but still have issues. Such as low disk space and numerous error reports whic are driving me mad. Unable to remove errors even with REGEDIT!!! The re instaling is not a problem but I do not seem able to copy or save any drivers before I reboot the whole system from scratch? Coddy
Hi Mikey Have you tried the "restore" feature, go back to a date you know the PC was working ok and let it do its work. This is of course you can get windows up and running in the first place! Coddy
Bob F
If the restore to an earlier version doesn't work as Coddy suggests [goto Start - Help and Support - Pick a Task - Undo changes with System Restore], drop us another post and I will dig out the key sequence for a factory reset. This reolads Windows XP from your disk, along with the drivers. It's only available on some computer makes, though, like Dell. BF
