You may find something on Google or ebay Kam

To late to worry about conservation after they are mounted Rich,

But I would also rather display a photo of a fine fish prior to its safe return than some tatty boxed corpse with glass eyes.

That reminds me of the lady who had a pair of pet monkeys that died. She'd loved them so much that she decided to take them to a taxidermist, so she could have them stuffed and keep their memory alive. After she left the shop the taxidermist suddenly realised he'd forgotten to ask whether she wanted them in a glass case or on a plinth. He telephoned her, and said, "I forgot to ask - did you want them mounted?" "Oh, no!", said the woman, "just holding hands will be fine..."! biggrin.gif

Sorry....

One can buy stuffed fish at many auction houses, there was a time when they were very collectable but now the price seems to be coming down. Unfortunately, the majority of stuffed fish seem to be freshwater varieties, I think I've only seen one sea variety. Whether this is because of technical problems or because people eat their trophies before getting them to the taxidermist, I don't know. See if you can get a large perch and paint it!

There is a taxidermist is Salisbury, who'll stuff anything your have or get it for you, i used him a couple of years ago to stuff some rats for me (for training) he was very good, found the correct breed of rat and did a superb stuffing job. They're still in perfect condition having been handled by a couple of thousand students!!!.

Unfortunately i don't have his number, but he was in the yellow pages.
