Sunday???

That 'weather window' is tantalizingly opened and closed, moved on to Mon. and brought back to Sun.

This morning [early] .....gone!; now.........looking good again!!

I'm up for Sunday......... willing to crew for someone else keen to get out [small tides] or to take someone with me or go on my own.

Most likely.........trip out of Lymington......or Mudeford if the swells are not too bad.

I'll keep my powder dry for another day at least, Alun. If it really looks worth while taking the trip down, I'm up for a blast on Gastronaught. I've got a big box of squid doing nothing much.

I will buddy up on Sunday. But I would certainly recommend Lymington as when I took Enticer out on Saturday we tried the ledge but we only just made it to Xray.

Gordon, do you fancy crewing? If not PJ?

Regards

I am up for going on Sunday as well ( provided the weather plays ball ).

Either take Neo if say Gordon and PJ want to crew or happy to crew.

Let me know.

Can we put a little 'fleet' together tomorrow or Sat.? Could be 3 or 4 club boats ?

Looks like the weather won't be too bad; not ideal, but good enough to try Lepe or nearer to Lymo.

Neap tide, with midday low........but big leads still needed up there.

I can do Saturday or Sunday. Let's see what the weather is doing but your wreck will probably be "doable", although I fancy getting to Lepe for a few cod unsure.gif

Sorry Paul,

I meant sort out tomorrow or Sat .... for Sunday.

Sunday is likely to be the only bearable day for wind/waves.

Sounds good to me. Just looking at the window on Sunday - still there on windguru but I presume there will still be a bit of a swell out there.

I'm definately up for Sunday if the weather improves, especially as I have a lot of prawn bait to use up. Don't mind taking my boat, especially now I have replaced the Alderney Ring, or crewing.

OK - So far we have :-

Alun J - Gastronaught

Terry

Gordon - Enticer

Gordon H ( with Fugazi if needed )

Me ( with Neo if needed )

PJ

Either I will crew on Enticer or Gordon H can crew on Enticer.

PJ can crew on Neo if Gordon H crews on Enticer or

PJ can crew on Fugazi if I crew on Enticer and Fugazi goes.

Hows that sound so far ?

Will have to see if Nipper is up for a trip out as well.

And Simon [aka Britboard] is keen to bring his Raider 18 as well.

Fingers crossed for that calmer weather..........and it should be sunny!

Mike,

Simon [ britboard] is keen to bring his Raider 18 down for a trip, so he may have room.

Terry.......are you coming with me on Gastronaught ?? ........ now weather is looking OK.

Could be 5 or 6 boats ?...........and sunshine..........Gordon, just show us where the cod are!

ok, this is getting complicated now, i'm confused as to who is going with who blink.gif

i have confirmed

Gastronaught, Alun is with Terry (terry just phoned, has 1 more crew if needed)

Enticer, Gordon +1

Cimmara, Simon(me) +1 (maybe 2 if needed)

Gordon H ( with Fugazi if needed )

Paul D ( with Neo if needed )

PJ (crewing)

Mike F (crewing)

If my maths is right thats 2 per boat we just need to decide who fits where biggrin.gif

I am bringing my boat down, and will gladly take 1 or 2 passengers, so first to post-up can take shotgun.

Have we arranged a time to meet at Lymington?

Hope the swell isn't too bad for you Martin.

Gastronaught will hope to get out about 8.

I bet the slipway ticket man will be out with all our boats there.

lol Terry, I was thinking the same thing as well.

To date it is :-

Gastronaught :- Alun J and Terry

Neo :- Paul D and Paul J

Fugazi :- Gordon and Gordon

Cimarra + crew(Mike F ?)

Neo will be there around 8 AM

Will crew with Simon aboard Cimarra, probably launching 8 - 8.30.

Let's hope there's a bit more activity.

Anyone got a whiting mark in the Solent they can share, for if the cod remain shy?

I suspect a few bass might still be around too!

My mistake, it was only Man Flu. Pete appears to be o/k now and would like to come. If you have room Simon, put him down.
