I have bought a new Alderney Bouy for OOTB, but it came deflated (for postage reasons)

Now, I thought that it would simply be case of a football type needle adaptor and a handpump, but the needle doesnt seem big enough?

The value has a plug which unscrews and I dont want to puncture the buoy by forcing the needle too far..

Any ideas?

If you know of anybody that has a electric pump for inflating lilo's they have two valves anyone of them will do to inflate you bouy. as they are large and cone shaped.

If you have a car footpump or a power station with inflator then one of the adaptor will work, I think you have to uncrew the valve before you can inflat it, that was what I had to do to my Alderney buoy when I first got it.

With mine, Adam, I undid the screw and use my airline with a standard trigger operated gun on the end and pushed that into the hole to make a seal. The air pressure is enough to open the valve and inflate it. You don't have to push anything through the valve.

Adam,

I have bottled 'N' with airline here if you're passing.
