Hi Guys,

I remember a while ago that someone mentioned a prop repairer in the Poole area, but cant find the thread.

Any recommendations?

It's not for me, my brother in law clouted a rock with his brand new Suzi 140 whilst trying one of my shallow water plugging marks rolleyes.gif

It's not completely mullered by he would like it repaired to keep as a spare.

The people you want are Propellor Revolutions on Cobbs Quay.

Their web site address is here :-

Propellor Revolutions

Mention the fishing club as well please.

Do we get a discount off these guys?

Mad Mike

On production of a valid club membership card you will receive 10% discount

BTW coming soon a full list of local businesses that offer members discount will be posted in the members only section..

Thats one of the + benefits of belonging to this club. I bought a new stainless prop today and saved over the cost of a years membership in one purchase.

Yes - I had same pleasure when buying my prop from them. I mentioned the club and wasd told - "Ah club member you can get discount if you have a card". Showed card and got discount.

Well recommended.

10% of the new B3 drive costs would be nice too.........but I think I am getting a good deal anyway just wish they could get it and fit it a bit quicker!

Bob (membership sec) is away at the moment so will not respond immediately. I have however sent him the link to this thread so he will catch up on his return. Anyone else missing the elusive membership cards? please post here

re the Members Cards.

Dom, Terry, you can pick up your card at the next club meeting if you don't need it sooner, otherwise I will have to post it to you.

Duncan, you asked me not to post one to you, and instead to leave yours with either with Dave Rowell or Martin. I believe I gave yours to Dave. If Dave doesn't have it I will give another one to Martin at the next club meeting.

Next year I hope to be able to have a proper record of who was given a card. This year we were not properly organized with issuing the cards and it finally landed on my desk, so I have no record of who one given cards before that.

cheers

I've been a member for about 3 years now, Bob, and I've never had a card; didn't even know there was such a thing until this thread started. If you could post mine I would really be obliged as, living in Oxfordshire, I cannot guarantee getting to meetings. I will, of course, willingly re-imburse the postage costs.

PS sorry not to have put post about our excellent and very enjoyable trip. I returned home on Friday to find a huge 'situation' had arose regarding our Saudi student which ended in me ejecting him forcibly from the house on Saturday morning. mad.gif

It was quite funny really, Carol and I were getting all this poo and being faced with the "I dun hunderstan" in response to our "well you can ***K off right now then" when my 23 year old son came round to say happy birthday to me. Morgan is 5'11" works out on weights and is a broad shouldered well muscled bloke with a couple of Army tattoos on his arm. Calmly easing mum aside he firmly but kindly ejected the little Saudi brat.
