Fishing Tomorrow (Sat 5th Jan 2008)

I am thinking of heading out tomorrow from Poole, due to tide a XChurch.

Does anyone have any ideas for marks for cod, or even a late bass?

Otherwise some small conger would be fun, having caught my first last Sunday!

Thanks

Rob

Well we went out yesterday. Got out about lunchtime and the Harbour was like a mill pond, and so was out side the harbour. Too good to be true I thought.

It was my first trial of the plotter I won in the Open, the maps arrived in the morning which was good timing! How did I manage without one before, superb!

We blasted to Swanage in no time and the moment we dropped the hook did the wind pick up and sea chop.

Managed a few dogs and some Pout - one really nice one kept for tea.

Headed in at 4 just as the light was fading. Nice to be out, the home made cuddy is heavenly!

Rob,

Good to hear youre enjoying the plotter,

As you discover it's various functions and their usages, it would be good to hear about them on here.

Some of us have either forgotten them or never spent the time learning out about them in the first place

Hi Rob

Glad the plotter is as good as it was said to be, the expert in the Club seems to be Bob Fuller, but I am happy to try and help if you have questions.

I must try and get Bob out on Alfresco for a teach in. biggrin.gif

Did you lose an anchor on Sat? Shiela Maria was reporting a buoyed off line from Swanage direction yesterday with the name Jo Jo on it.
