plaicemat
You're either losing it or perhaps it's your social secretary's fault for not keeping you up to speed with your appointments. Terry.
petesnr
I'm making a rare visit to the ocean with Clive Tyler. Not sure what his boat is called but will try to make contact. Pete
sTTu
Hi All after a very quiet week weather wise, and on the catch reports. I was wondering if anyone was planning to go out this weekend? I was out "practicing" my driving and harbour navigation this afternoon, what a loverly day ! Keen to get out tomorrow but not sure if the boss is giving me a freedom pass
Maverick Martin
You're either losing it or perhaps it's your social secretary's fault for not keeping you up to speed with your appointments. plaicemat
Social secretaries are there to be blamed for our own shortcomings; never miss an opportunity. Terry.
great white
Last nights call to Duncan found him in his car heading home after cancelling plans for today. A late check of the weather sites indicated bad weather in the channel and only slightly easing today. The plans to steam an hour West were looking over ambitious but we thought we would still get out As you can tell by the time of this post, we did not stay out We cleared Old Harry in cold winds and building seas that were no better at the spoils, so decided to abort the trip, let the crew and I build up the store of brownie points and try again later in the week. A few boats were heading out as we made our way up the swash, But I wonder how many stayed out? Good decision Duncan Charlie
Paul D
Also planned on going out today, but changed my mind when at the football in Southend. The wind was a brisk freezing cold easterly, so decided to stay in the warm today.
