boybilly
Fishing on Friday in the Species league and was alongside when Wild Frontier came in. He was due to go wrecking but it blew up. Decided to go East as he had beginners on board. One of the guys was filleting some fish so i took a peak. Bugger me it was a Bream. Just the one caught but apparently one of the pot boys had some in a pot last week. Now that is early. Bodes well though for another good season. Already mackerel on Chesil. Just waiting for Spotties to arrive now

Swainiac
Hi BB, good to hear, and early showing usually means a half decent season ahead! On the off chance that you are available at short notice, Ive booked Josh on wed April 9th, for a trip during our half term. Its on the back of the tree big springs, so fishing should be ok. One of the teachers is willing to pay up front to hold his seat, but is less than 50/50 as to whether he can make it, I can let you know maybe 48 hrs in advance?? Im sure it will be paid, so if you fancy a day out for a donation for goodwil...fill ure boots. Our chef will be providing scoff, bring your own beer!! Just been reading through ctahc reports from last spring - wondering if I'm doing the right thing selling OotB as the fishing starts to hot up!! alun j.
Despite the chilly conditions, it was great to get out today. Loads of action with pout and dogs but best sight was first bream of 2008 for me, a lively blue boy bream, just under 3 lbs. Gordon got himself a conger and we both had a bull huss..... .....could be good practice for upcoming species comp.?? Thanks again Gordon for the trip out and the onboard catering.....weather and fishing will soon improve. Alun.
Manic Moore
No probs Alun. Glad of your company again. It was nice to give Enticer a run out and despite not being started for 2 months or so she fired up and ran faultless all day. That wind was quite biting and didn't let up all day but nice to get out and wind up a few fish Gordon
Paul D
Sounds like you both had a reasonable time out and good to see the Bream appearing. All I need to do now is get some time off work when the weather improves.
great white
Well done lads a few species on a better day The wind was cold ashore today so I bet it had a real nip out there Charlie
