great white
Is anyone going out at the weekend. The various weather sites are giving differant signals, but I am keen to take the boat for a spin if I see a window. It was Dan's birthday earlier in the week and I am sure he would be keen to finish the week with a conger trip . Especially as he had to endure exams and course work. Paul D
I need to get Neo launched sometime ( from Wick ) to check that my repairs to the piping between the two skins have had the desired effect ( as in no longer leaks like a fountain ! ). Want to get this done ASAP so when the better weather comes I can get straight out there after the fish.
Gnasher
is there many inshore conger around out of xchurch paul? Im thinking of heading to the clan for a trip when the weather gets better. I think about this time of year theres a few blonds on the nine mile banks, im keen to try for them but isnt it about this time of year they are spawning? Sinbad
Dan There are plenty of Conger on the Clan... but you probably know that.. I cant believe the ledge anywhere deep, wouldnt hold a few.. good luck if you get out. Regards Paul
Adam F
This time of year is conger time for me - not else around! If your after eels out of xchurch, then forget the Clan - 8 miles South sees you on half a dozen decent wrecks all holding decent eels in 100' plus. Paul D
I was thinking more of looking for early bass / bream, but need to get the boat checked out first.
