Rob
I am hoping to shortly make up some leads. I would like to borrow the club mould\s. Is there a "keeper of the moulds" , any advise on how, who, where or when would be gratefully recieved. Thanks Rob
Adam F
Rob, You need to go through ' The initiation ceremony' before you can borrow them...........
Rob
Ok Adam, whatever it takes. Will we be doing it at the AGM or Saturday? Let me know so I can top up with some Dutch courage I have been contacted by the current holder of the moulds so should be sorted at the end of the month. Coddy
Rob You understand that making leads from club moulds eliminates you from any comps, that includes raffles! Coddy

mw
charlie have a look to see if you have an air whole blockage it might not be getting the right amount of air gas mix mark w
Rob
Thanks Charlie - I will contact you if \ when I will be moulding. I will be using a petrol stove to melt the lead - I have been told this is sufficient. Rob
Adam F
Yep - Coleman Sportster Stove. Runs on 20p of unleaded for about an hour, and more than powerful for melting lead. I have a spare one here which just needs a new generator - about a fiver from Bournemouth Fishing Lodge. Shout if you want it.
plaicemat
The last lot I did recently (28lb of lead used) I used the single burner gas stove I use on the boat. This is the one with a large gas cannister inserted into it and it did the job just fine. I think I paid
