dicky Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 Hi everyone, My name is Richard and i am new here. I have a share in a seahog commodore but it is kept up at the bristol channel so my south coast fishing is limited to charters and the beach. cheers. Quote
great white Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 Hi and welcome to the Clubs Forum The lads are off to Burham, on Sunday so any info on how the channel is fishing may be very useful. I am sure they would give you a good reception if you wanted to join them on the water Charlie Quote

dicky Posted April 15, 2008 Author Report Posted April 15, 2008 thanks for the welcome guys. the channels fishing well for rays and eels with fish baits the best for the better ones. rag and squid cocktails will catch a surprising amount of straps upto low doubles and the bass should start to show too. how are the wrecks fishing your way at the mo? great white Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 Hi Richard I did not see your post about Burnham until after I read this one so apologies for asking something that you had already answered. Thanks for the tips for Burnham The south coast wrecks are a bit slow for pollack at the moment but that should improve soon and there are some eels about. Certainly likely to be bigger than up in your stretch. So I hope you get a few if the skipper anchors up. Where do you fish from? Charlie Quote
