Swainiac Posted May 23, 2008 Report Posted May 23, 2008 Anyone know/have lying around a pair of open top type cleats?? A friend is putting a set on the back end of his boat, and asked me to place a thread on the forum. He is also after some good anti slip self adhesive stuff to go on the top of the gunwalls to stop slip when you get on and off the boat. Any takers??? Rich Quote
Wedger Posted May 23, 2008 Report Posted May 23, 2008 Is he painting on epoxy then gritting it or the cheap stick-on stuff? The epoxy you can get from the Woolsbridge Industrial Estate. If he's going down that route I'll make the enquiry. T Quote

Adam F Posted May 23, 2008 Report Posted May 23, 2008 Rich, Do you mean fairleads? If not I have a pair of 6" T cleats here going cheap? As for self adhesive tape - we sell it at work in 4 colours for applying to steps and the like - good stuff it is. Let me know if either are of any help? Adam Quote
Swainiac Posted May 23, 2008 Author Report Posted May 23, 2008 Adam, the cleats are open top types, with the tips folded in, like wings...dunno what they are called. The stick on stuff should be fine Quote
