If the bottom allows, use the same as a hopper rig or rotten bottom portland. If the bottom is very snaggy but reletively even depth, then still go for the float.

Hi Patrick and welcome to PBSBAC's home on the net.

 

I have never tried fishing float in that depth and would reccomend the same rigs as Gnasher and Wedger. However as Wedger says if the bottom is very tackle hungry but of a relatively even depth then no reason why a large float should not work.
