Adam put us right on a wreck on the way towards the needles and first cast I was in to a good conger, it went 35lb. I Just beat adam buy 1 bream, Thanks to my hasty decision to move back to the ledge before adam caught his 4. Saying "The ledge will be full of bream!!" We never saw anouther bream all day. Sorry adam The final tally was. Me... 1 conger 4 bass 4 wrasse 4 mullet 4 dogs 4 mackrel 4 bream 1 tope Adam.... Paul D
No competition from Neo I am afraid !! Mike's score I will let him report if he wishes. Mine was 4 doggies ( lost count at around 15 ) 2 scad 2 mackeral ( or was it 2 ? ) 1 tope I thought you would have got some scad from XRay - all we could catch there, the mackeral seemed strangely absent. Xray had turned into "dogfish city" so headed for a spot which looked more sheltered downtide of XChurch ledge. Was more sheltered but all I got was another dogfish ! Moved over the other side of the ledge near BW, tried to pick up a buoy and gave up as the sea was pretty choppy, so headed over toward New Milton at around 8 - 9 knots - Neo can keep up with these Warriors when it is choppy A drift over towards New Milton in the hope of a plaice was non productive but the waves were rather large over there ( at least the height of the boat and some ) Did our good deed on the way over to New Milton when we spotted a catamaran capsize. Circled it a few times to make sure they were OK and they righted it after a few attempts. Nice of them to acknowledge our concern. ( I was thinking what the next move should be if they needed assistance ). Stopped off in the harbour for some mullet but had wrong gear ( too heavy line and too big hooks ). Tried ledgered ragworm but nothing taking. Still was a fun day.

overdraft
Well you will not be getting any action pictures from Overdraft because there was very little action!!! apart from some nice footwork as we rock and rolled all over the place again when will the wind ever drop? great white
Thanks for all the score sheets lads Kim can I have yours please I need to send off to BFM we need to have at least 12 each comp and so far I only have 11 It looks like James has max points after the three so it would be very bad not to have 12 results. If anyone else fished on Sunday please let me know Thanks all Bob and I went out to scratch at Brownsea, started well enough with pout pollack and wrasse then decided to try for more pollack just outside but a large wake had us bouncing around by the chain ferry so much that a container of the days ragworm was absent from the baitboard by the time we started to drift the east looe channel. That forced us out into the choppy stuff several small tope helped the score along but only 1 dogfish and 1 ray we had so many mackeral that when Mark and Paul ran out of bait we called them over and threw them a bagfull. You should have seen Pauls face, I took them out of the livebait tank and did not tell him the bag he was trying to catch had 6 live mackeral in it Bobs uptider snapped on casting which spoilt the day a bit , but the main problem was the weather , and of course shortage of rag after we lost 100 overboard. we had an draw on the boat with 5 species and 77 points each Nice company could have done with a few more fish Charlie
